Did you know it costs the rescue approximately $200 per month to care for a rescued horse? This covers the regular Feed, Hay, Farrier, and Veterinary costs, such as vaccinations. Medical expenses for long-term conditions are in addition to this. RVHR depends on public donations to cover the yearly fees for each horse in our care. Note: Most of our residents are not Rideable but would love to have a home of their own and the love of a family.
Rideable Description meaning – A RVHR team member has been on the horse at a walk ONLY.
