The RVHR facility is located on just over 20 acres in Franklin County, Virginia. Thanks to support from various fundraisers over the years, RVHR successfully acquired the land and facility from the previous owners in June 2019. Like any homeowners, the horses that call RVHR home have monthly mortgage payments, as well as regular utility bills such as property taxes, phone, electricity, and insurance. Each month, RVHR has to cover these expenses using our general fund account. We can only hope that every donation we receive contributes to the care and needs of the horses at the facility. But these expenses also need to be covered to keep the facility open to the horses in need.
