Thank you for coming to this page and letting us know your thoughts on what is going on.

Tell us what you think, how we are doing with Shotgun and if you like the cam we have set up.   We want to know!  good or bad.

It is very important that we know if we are doing everything we can to show our supports that each of you are very important to what we do here at RVHR.

Leave us a note, thoughts and any questions  on the case in general or what you see.  I will be checking this often and putting up updates for you.  We have also been putting up updates on facebook the general public but yours will be answered here first.

Thank you so much for all you are doing to help us help Shotgun and now these new horses in need.

  1. 5-21-2013 Daily update: Shotgun is doing fine no fever this morning but a little up this evening. He is off of his meds now so we will still be checking it. With this warm ok HOT weather a lot of them are really hot. Princeton and him are getting along great. Shotgun is showing Princeton how to eat the grain and Princeton is showing Shotgun how to get up. They are so cute together one lies down and then the other Princeton will get up and then Shotgun tries. If you can see them now they are both lying down and Princeton has his head resting on Shotgun. Just to Cute! Jasmine is starting to fill out some looking better each day. Still not a lot of milk but Roman is getting what he needs between mom and the bottles he drinks. We now have him eating a pan of feed and milk mixed in the blender 3 times a day he is eating about 1 cup each feeding. Sad the little man has to grow up so fast to stay alive he is doing things that a 3 or 4 week foal does and he is only 9 days old. The new herd got a good grooming today most of the ticks, dead matted hair is off of them thanks to Hannah, Corey and Gabby. They are looking good. They all come into the barn now looking for the next meal. We hope to get to trimming some of the long hooves tomorrow. The other two foals spent the day being worked with learning how to let humans touch them. They are so scared but they did really well. Foal nor human were injured. So that’s a good day! Raymond our night watchmen just came in so I am off to eat something and visit my pillow before midnight. Goodnight everyone.

  2. Is there anyone In the Hanging Rock area that could pick up a pickup truck load hay that someone wants to donate for the horses. If so can you email me a plmuncy@rvhr.com. We really need square bales ASAP. Thank you Pat.
