2013 Horse Clinic Schedule

RVHR will be offering Horse Clinics throughout the year. Children from the age of 5 years old to adults are welcome. You can learn much ~ from basic horse handling to working in a round pen with an actual horse. Each clinic will be designed around teaching safety when being around these large, majestic animals.

These clinics are free to our Volunteers who have logged over 10

hours of Volunteer time at RVHR and to our Caregivers. There is a

$10.00 registration fee for non-volunteers and the general public. Food,

drinks and snacks will be for sale during the clinics.

If you would like to attend one of the scheduled clinic days please

email chostler@rvhr.com to reserve your space. Clinics are hands

on with horses so reserve today! Each clinic will be held from

1:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m, weather permitting, so please check our website for any

cancellations.

Please note, the first clinic date of each month is for people with NO horse experience. We will cover basic topics such as grooming, haltering and leading. The second clinic of each month will be for people who have horse experience. We will begin with a review of basic handling and safety and will finish with some round penning.
