A happy reunion to report from a story we brought you on Tuesday.  The horse that fell down an embankment and into Smith Mountain Lake has been reunited with his owners.

Trigger's owners had no idea he was missing until they saw him on television.  "I saw him on the news and I said, 'That's Trigger.'  Then I called my sister," says James Swain.  His sister, Gladiola, also caught the story and knew exactly who he was.  So she came down to the rescue center to identify her horse.  "I brought pictures up here and identified him and so it was Trigger.  Thank the lord," says Gladiola.

Trigger has been in the family for 27 years.  James and Gladiola say they are glad to see so many people cared to save an animal in distress.  Over the past couple of days, the rescue center says they have received dozens of phone calls and emails.  Trigger is still recovering from his injuries, but will have to stay at the center for about 11 days.

Meet our newest arrival he is here to be cared for while Franklin County Animal Control try to find his Owners  -  Nicknamed Cliff his rescue from Smith Mountain lake took over 6 hours.  After falling over 100 feet off a cliff into the lake on monday 8-20-07 he is doing well.
